Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a employment notification recruitment of three posts Air Safety Officer has issued the online notification and these posts are permanent basis. The eligible candidates may apply the online application website on or before the last date of application form 17 March 2016.

Important Dates:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Air Safety Officer (Engineering) in Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. Degree in Aeronautical Engineering of a recognized University OR A pass in associate membership examination parts II & III/Sections a & B of the Aeronautical Society of India. Experience in investigation of aircraft accidents/ Pilot or navigator.
  • Assistant Director of Census Operation (T) in the Office of Registrar General, India, Ministry of Home affairs. Master’s Degree in Statistics or Operation Research or Mathematics (with statistics) or Economics. Master’s degree in Population Studies of a recognised University.
  • Assistant Director (Cipher) in Directorate of Coordination (Police Wireless), Ministry of Home Affairs. Master Degree in Mathematics of a recognized University. Five years’ experience of Cipher duties in Cipher Organisation in a responsible capacity in cipher organisation.
  • Extra Assistant Directors in Directorate of Coordination (Police Wireless), Ministry of Home Affairs. Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or in Electrical Engineering with Telecommunications Engineering as a special subject from a recognised University. Experience in installation, maintenance over hauling and testing of Radio and allied equipment.
  • Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi Branch), Ministry of Law and Justice, Legislative Department, Official Languages Wing. Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act. Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University.
  • Assistant Director, Grade-I (Costing) in the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Mumbai, Ministry of Textiles. Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India or equivalent. Previous experience in dealing with problems of Textiles Industry in a Government, Semi-Government office or a commercial firm.
  • Scientists ‘B’ (Civil Engineering) in Central Soil and Materials Research Station, New Delhi, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University. Possessing three year’s experience in the relevant branch of engineering.

Age Limit:

The service commission is not more than 30 to 55 years.

Pay Scale:

The service commission is fixed for the basic pay is Rs. 15600 – 39100 + 5400 Grade pay (T.E.Rs.45990/-Approx) + TA and HRA as admissible.

Selection Mode:

The Eligible candidates are selected through Recruitment test and interview.

Application Fee:

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. Fee exemption is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full fee.
